Dosage of zurcal for stomach
For the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease:
40 mg once a day for 8 to 16 weeks
40 mg intravenously once a day for 7 to 10 days
In the case of Zollinger-Ellison syndrome:
40 mg once a day, and the dose can be increased up to 240 mg a day in some cases
80 mg intravenously every 8 or 12 hours up to 7 days, and as soon as the patient is able to swallow, the tablets are taken instead of injections
40 mg once a day for two weeks
40 mg once a day for 4 weeks
Side effects of ZURCAL tablets for the treatment of heartburn
Side effects of the drug include:
Diarrhea or constipation
Itching or rash
High blood sugar
Use of the drug in high doses for more than one year may cause an increased risk of fractures and osteoporosis
If you are allergic to pantoprazole or any of the ingredients in the medicine
People with diarrhea due to a bacterial infection is known as Clostridium difficile
In case of vitamin B12 deficiency
People with low levels of magnesium in the blood
