BISADYL TAB. each enteric coated tablet contains : bisacodyl 5 mg
INDICATION OF BISADYL TAB
treatment of constipation . – evacuation of the bowel before radiological and investigational procedures or surgery .
DOSAGE
Follow all directions given to you by your pharmacist or doctor carefully . They may differ from the information contained in this leaflet
Ask your pharmacist or doctor for help if you do not understand the instructions on the box .
The recommended dose is : –
unless otherwise prescribed by a physician : adults : 1-2 tablets at night . – children : ( under 10 years ) : 1 tablet at night .
OVER-DOSAGE
symptoms of overdosage include : colicky lower abdominal pain with possible signs of dehydration ; these may be expected particularily in the elderly and very young where appropriate gastric lavage should be performed and adequate hydration maintained . serum potassium levels should be monitored . antispasmodics may bring some relief .
CONTRA-INDICATION
hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation . – conditions where any laxative is contraindicated e.g. intestinal obstruction .
STORAGE
store at temperature not exceeding 30 ° C . In a dry place .
PACK
a carton box containing one strip or 3 strips (PVC/AL ) each of 10 enteric coated tablets .
