INDICATION OF ANARCOL TAB
Anarcol is indicated in: The blockade of the effects of exogenously administered opioids. Anarcol provides an appropriate plan of management in narcotic addition. The treatment of alcohol dependence.

The recommended dose
Treatment of Opioid Addiction: Anarcol has been shown to provide therapeutic benefit when given as part of a comprehensive plan of management.
Treatment should not be attempted unless the patient has remained opioid-free for at least 7-10 days. The patient should not be manifesting withdrawal signs and reporting withdrawal symptoms. Treatment should be initiated carefully, with an initial dose of 25 mg of Anarcol. If no withdrawal signs occur, the patient may be started on 50 mg/day.
A flexible approach to a dosing regimen to ensure patient compliance may need to be employed in cases of supervised administration.
Treatment of Alcoholism: The recommended dose of Anarcol in the treatment of alcoholism is 50 mg once daily for up to 12 weeks.
Naltrexone is contraindicated in: Patients receiving opioid analgesics. Patients currently dependent on opioids. (Positive urine screen for oploids). Patients in acute opioid withdrawal. Any individual with a history of sensitivity to Naltrexone or any other components of this product. Any individual with acute hepatitis or liver failure.
